Coffee Rub Strip Steaks
Ingredients
- 2 16-ounce boneless New York strip steaks (about 1 inch thick)
- 2 Tbsp Caramelized Coffee Rub
- 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
Directions
- Rub the Caramelized Coffee Rub into the steaks set on a wire rack over a plate or baking sheet and chill uncovered 3–6 hours.
- Remove from the fridge and let steaks sit for 1 hour, which will help them cook quickly and more evenly.
BBQ method:
- Preheat your grill to high heat.
- Place the steaks directly on the grill. For medium rare: cook 4-6 minutes, then flip the steaks and repeat on the other side. Grill for more or less time depending on your preferred doneness.
- Transfer to a cutting board, and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
