Tofu Steak

Ingredients

  • 454 g of firm or extra-firm tofu, cut into 2cm. slices
  • 1 Tbsp of Kanel Butcher's Block
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp Olive Oil

Directions

  1. Lightly rub tofu with olive oil, and sprinkle generously with Butcher's Block. Massage to penetrate the flavours & refrigerate for 1-3 hours. 
  2. Remove the tofu from the fridge and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes to ensure quick and even cooking.
  3. Pan fry until the steaks are golden and crispy. Serve with fries and a nice cold brew
