Fiery Beet Hummus
Ingredients
Hummus
- 4 medium beets, roasted or boiled
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 2 Tbsp tahini paste
- 4 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 small clove garlic
- 1 Tbsp lemon zest (approx. 2 lemons)
- Generous pinch of Fiery Sea Salt
- Fresh ground pepper to taste
Toasts (optional)
- 4 slices of your favorite bread, toasted
- 2 avocados, sliced
- 3 radishes, sliced thinly
- A handful of fresh spinach
Directions
1. Place the beets, chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, lemon zest, Fiery Sea Salt and pepper in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Taste and adjust ingredients to taste.
2. Serve as a dip or atop toast with radishes, avocado, spinach and finish with a sprinkle of Fiery Sea Salt.
